Hill House is located in Thorpe St Andrew which is the eastern most suburb of Norwich with the city centre some two and a half miles to the west and open countryside to the east leading to the Broads, and eventually to the coast and Great Yarmouth about eighteen miles away.Hill House is a charming and spacious property with large, bright, comfortable rooms. It was built in 1900 and has been fully restored to retain its original Edwardian features and character whilst providing up to date facilities and colour schemes. We are only the second owners in over a hundred years.All our rooms have double beds, the family room has a double and a single bed and ample room for an adult size put-up' bed. We can provide a cot and high chair if required. Each room has all the usual comforts and facilities - tea, coffee, drinking chocolate, iron and ironing board, television, radio alarm clock, hair drier and, of course, an en suite bathroom. Wireless Internet is also available, free, in all rooms.We have a large car parking area and garaging for three cars, all of which is monitored by CCTV.

Directions

The A47 crosses Norfolk from west to east ending at Great Yarmouth and it bypasses the southern half of Norwich. If you are arriving via the A140 or the A11 you will intersect the A47 a couple miles south of Norwich, join the A47 at this point and turn right (east) towards Great Yarmouth. Exit at the A1042 signposted Norwich N and E (this is the third exit if joining from the A11 and the second exit if joining from the A140.) Take the first exit off the slip road signposted Thorpe St Andrew and remain on the A1042 for about three quarters of a mile until you exit left onto the A1242. We are half a mile along the A1242 on the right, turn into Hillside Road; our car park is fifty feet up the hill on the right. If you get lost, phone us and we'll talk you in!
